Abstract

This paper introduces the Transcendent Alignment and Identity Consolidation (TAIC) Model, a conceptual moral development framework describing how sustained orientation toward a transcendent moral reference contributes to ethical stabilization under conditions of entrusted responsibility, delayed reinforcement, and low-visibility development. Integrating moral identity theory, stewardship theory, self-determination theory, and delayed gratification research, the model proposes a cyclical architecture through which identity coherence and humility regulation deepen over time. The framework generates testable hypotheses and outlines empirical validation pathways, contributing to moral psychology, leadership ethics, and the psychology of religion.
