Abstract

Source data generated / analysed for the study 'Springs are hotspots of microbial diversity in the hydrologic continuum': Source Data 1 contains groundwater bore, spring and surface water sample details and physicochemical (pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, specific conductance) and isotope (222-Rn) data. Source Data 2 consists of untransformed environmental DNA metabarcoding data as aggregated sequence reads (analysed at Wilderlab Laboratories, Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand).
