Abstract

We present a unified geometric framework deriving all fundamental physics from a single axiom: unbounded openness exists. The potential for distance actualizes as two opposed poles, and this opposition defines the complete spacetime structure eternally as a four-dimensional geometry existing outside of time. Crucially, the structure has two geometric boundaries: the Big Bang at one end (maximum concentration, single point) and the future end state at the opposite end (maximum dispersal, complete neutralization). The left and right endpoints of the star-diamond geometry represent this future end boundary where neutralization reaches completion, not the initial state. What we experience as cosmic evolution is our path through the eternal structure from the concentrated Big Bang boundary toward the dispersed end boundary. Time emerges as the coordinate parameterizing this geometric transition from concentration to dispersal. We observe multiple neutralization outcomes—dark energy, dark matter, and ordinary matter—because we occupy the middle transition region where neutralization is actively proceeding but incomplete. At the Big Bang boundary, the structure is too concentrated for variants. At the future end boundary, neutralization is complete. Only in the middle transition zone do we find the full spectrum of outcomes distributed as approximately seventy percent dark energy, twenty-five percent dark matter, and five percent ordinary matter. Failed neutralization, where opposing gradients cannot fully cancel, creates ongoing tension manifesting as dark energy. This becomes increasingly dominant as we approach the end boundary because regions that failed to neutralize cannot complete the process. Near-complete neutralization with tiny residuals produces dark matter. Incomplete neutralization with significant residual charge creates ordinary matter and forces. All these variants exist as geometric properties distributed throughout the transition region of the eternal structure. From the geometry of neutralization spreading perpendicular to the polar axis, we derive three spatial dimensions as maximal physical closure. We distinguish physical dimensions, which are ontological and limited to three spatial plus one temporal, from state-space dimensions, which are epistemological and can be arbitrarily high. The framework unifies general relativity as curvature within the eternal structure, quantum mechanics as path selection through regions containing multiple possible states, and all four forces as aspects of the gradient field geometry.
