European Symposium on Electric Machine Modelling, Simulation and Optimisation (EMMSO 2026) Book of Abstracts
Abstract
We are very happy to welcome all participants at the 1st European Symposium on Electric Machine Modelling, Simulation and Optimisation (EMMSO 2026) in Seeheim/Darmstadt, Germany. The event is jointly organised by the Collaborative Research Centre – TRR361/F90: CREATOR – Computational Electric Machine Laboratory, the Modular AXIal flux Motor for Automotive (MAXIMA) Consortium and the Centre of Excellence in High-Speed Electromechanical Energy Conversion Systems (CoE HiECSs). The conference intends to provide an interdisciplinary meeting place for researchers and practitioners working on modelling, simulation and optimisation of electric machines. The aim of the conference is to discuss the state of the art in this fastly evolving field, exchange experiences, to develop promising perspectives for future research and to initiate further cooperation. The conference programme comprises nearly 50 oral and poster presentations. We are delighted to have secured six colleagues from universities, research institutions and industry as invited speakers. The chairpersons would like to thank all keynote speakers and contributors. Moreover, the chairpersons express their thanks to Dr. Markus Lazanowski, Carina Schuster and Christian Schmitt for the organisation of the conference. We are looking forward to a stimulating and fruitful event of high scientific quality.
