Abstract

This dataset demonstrates the deformation of the actuator the utilises the configuration 1 spine, under a 1N load at a bending angle of 90deg in the palpation direction. The results are the product of FEM simulations. By using this dataset the user is able to tune the spine's stiffening effect to better suit their use case.
