Fear, Information, and Fanaticism: A Conceptual Hypothesis on the Dynamics of Mind
Abstract
This work presents a conceptual hypothesis concerning the interaction between fear, information, and cognitive processes in modern society. It proposes that strong fear functions as a stabilizing mechanism within the mind, shaping information filtering and contributing to the formation of rigid belief systems and fanaticism. The paper does not claim empirical verification but offers an interpretative framework for understanding the psychological and social mechanisms underlying collective убеждения and ideological rigidity.
