Abstract

We present a comprehensive mathematical framework deriving the Standard Model of particle physics from the geometry of the exceptional Lie algebra E₈, embedded in an E₈×E₈ heterotic string construction with K7 compactification (G₂ holonomy). Building on established results (anomaly cancellation, three generations, Higgs mass, quark/lepton masses, CKM matrix)[1][2], this work introduces four major extensions: (1) The Rosetta constant β_c = 75° , φ²/2 ≈ 1.309, algebraically and geometrically linking the Silver Ratio δ_s, Golden Ratio φ, and π via the relation π ≈ 6φ²/5; (2) An Attractor Algebra on dimensionless constants {1, 0.5, ε, ζ(3), β_c, φ, δ_s, σ} exhibiting closure under multiplication onto E₈ channel cosines; (3) A parameter-free hadron spectrum (pion, rho, omega, Delta, D⁰, Upsilon, Lambda) from E₈ channels with ~1% precision, providing an explicit geometric realization of the Yang–Mills mass gap; (4) A neutrino sector with atmospheric mixing θ₂₃ = 49.22° (channel k=6, 0.24% error), mass scale m_ν ~ 0.05 eV from spinor dimension k=64, and identification of channel k=13 as the pure-spinor locus for vector mesons; (5) A non-continuum calculus on the 29-channel E₈ mass graph with discrete Laplacian, path integral, and gravity as channel curvature. All results use zero free parameters beyond the E₈ breaking scale Λ_E8 = 51.9 GeV and shadow coupling ε = 0.6366 (both fixed independently from 10+ observables). This framework unifies particle physics, hadron spectroscopy, neutrino physics, and fundamental mathematical constants within a single finite-spectral geometry, eliminating UV divergences and providing testable predictions for DUNE, HL-LHC, and lattice QCD. Introduction 1.1 The Standard Model and Its Free Parameters The Standard Model (SM) of particle physics successfully describes electromagnetic, weak, and strong interactions but requires 19 free parameters to match experimental fermion masses and mixing angles[3]. The six quark masses span five orders of magnitude (m_t ≈ 173 GeV, m_b ≈ 4.2 GeV, m_c ≈ 1.3 GeV, m_s ≈ 96 MeV, m_d ≈ 4.7 MeV, m_u ≈ 2.2 MeV), three charged lepton masses span four orders (m_τ ≈ 1777 MeV, m_μ ≈ 106 MeV, m_e ≈ 0.511 MeV), and neutrino masses remain largely unmeasured (Σm_ν < 0.12 eV from cosmology)[4]. The Yukawa couplings y_f in the SM Lagrangian LYukawa=−yuQ‾LH˜uR−ydQ‾LHdR−yeL‾LHeR+h.c. are free parameters adjusted post-hoc to match observations. No theoretical principle determines them. This represents the flavor puzzle: why these particular values, why this hierarchy, why this pattern? Grand Unified Theories (GUTs) attempt to embed the SM gauge group SU(3)_C × SU(2)_L × U(1)_Y into a larger simple group. The exceptional Lie algebra E₈ has emerged as the most compelling candidate through: (1) Heterotic string theory — the E₈×E₈ heterotic string provides a consistent quantum gravity framework with gauge group E₈[5]; (2) Anomaly cancellation — E₈ gauge theories naturally satisfy all Green–Schwarz anomaly conditions[6]; (3) Generation structure — the adjoint representation (248 dimensions) decomposes into exactly three chiral generations under appropriate symmetry breaking[7]. 1.2 The E₈ Standard Model Framework: Prior Results The Project MAYA framework (version 5.0) demonstrated that E₈ geometry, embedded in E₈×E₈ heterotic strings with K7 (G₂ holonomy) compactification, reproduces SM observables with zero free parameters beyond a single E₈ breaking scale Λ_E₈ = 51.9 GeV (previously fixed by the neutron lifetime anomaly): Observable Result Error Free Params Anomaly cancellation Exact 0% 0 (derived) 3 generations Exact 0% 0 (topological) Higgs mass 125.38 GeV 0.22% 1 (Λ_E8) 6 quark masses Avg 5.5%
