Competition Between Newtonian Attraction and Informational Pressure in a Holographic Cosmic Honeycomb
Abstract
This work proposes an informational interpretation of the cosmic web, in which dark matter filaments are modeled as channels with finite informational capacity rather than as purely gravitational structures. An informational pressure field is defined from the geometry and connectivity of the filamentary network, generating effective forces that compete with classical Newtonian attraction. Using a resolution-based stability criterion derived from the curvature of the informational pressure field, I show that large-scale filamentary structures and cellular equilibrium regions emerge naturally without the need for fine-tuned potentials or additional matter components. Regions of apparent repulsion in two-dimensional projections are reinterpreted as the shadow of stabilizing circulation arising from a higher-dimensional geometric structure. An effective metric formulation is introduced, where informational flow appears as a shift (vorticity) field, providing a geometric origin for dark-matter-like effects. Numerical tests demonstrate that the network is intrinsically coherent, with only rare localized defects, reinforcing the interpretation of the cosmic web as a self-stabilizing informational honeycomb.
