Helical Scalar Theory (HST): Introduction and Unification Solutions
Abstract
This paper introduces Helical Scalar Theory (HST), a background-independent geometric unification framework that resolves the "Crisis in Cosmology" by redefining the vacuum not as empty space, but as a high-stiffness Structured Scalar Medium (SSM). We propose that all fundamental constants (c, h, G) are not arbitrary inputs but derivable mechanical properties of a background lattice with a specific elastic modulus and torsional limit. By modeling the electron and proton as counter-rotating helical solitons rather than point particles, HST provides immediate, mechanical solutions to over a dozen foundational anomalies in the Standard Model. These resolutions span from the quantum to the cosmic scale, including: Cosmological: The Hubble Tension (resolved via variable light speed), the nature of Dark Matter (Lattice Torsion), and Dark Energy (Elastic Relaxation). Quantum: The Proton Radius Puzzle, the Neutron Mass Gap, and the Vacuum Catastrophe. Relativistic: The Black Hole Singularity (resolved as a finite "Helical Vent") and the unification of Gravity and Quantum Mechanics via the Einstein-Bell Bridge. The Einstein-Bell Bridge Equation: We present the mathematical translation layer that recovers General Relativity as the "Macro-Tension" of the quantum lattice. The field equation is derived as: R_μν - ½ R g_μν = (8π G_BG / c_BG⁴) T_μν Where G_BG is the longitudinal tension and c_BG is the lattice saturation velocity. Mechanical: The Flyby & Pioneer Anomalies, the Allais Effect (Scalar Shielding), and the Lift Paradox (Bernoulli Vacuum). We present the first-ever derivation of the Fine Structure Constant (alpha ≈ 1/137) as a geometric "slip angle" of the vacuum lattice and offer a definitive, testable prediction for the mass of the neutrino (n=0 harmonic) at ~0.701 eV. We conclude with a specific set of laboratory experiments—including the Hertzian Pitch Resonance (1.71 THz)—designed to falsify or validate the theory using existing technology.
