Verticality Without Function
Abstract
This paper focuses specifically on Aksumite stelae as vertical interfaces that stabilize hierarchy through denial of use. Architectural elements are treated as surface protocol rather than functional affordances.By integrating process stress tests and collapse analysis, the study argues that where execution is clean and restriction stable, explanatory models must themselves be tested.
