Abstract

The Starry Lighthouse is a lyrical illustrated children’s book about Arianna and her younger brother Ezra, who discover a flying lighthouse that guides lost stars safely home. Guided by the gentle keeper Lumen, they learn to steer beams of light, make playful mistakes, and feel the quiet rhythm of the night sky. Their extraordinary journey back to the beach transforms sleepless curiosity into brave wonder. Written for readers aged 7–12, the story gently explores imagination, sibling bonding, and scientific curiosity through stargazing, making it suitable for classrooms, libraries, and family read‑alouds.
