Abstract
European Photonic Topological Middleware (EPTM): A Hybrid Quantum-Classical Middleware Architecture for Exascale Unstructured Data Orchestration This white paper presents the European Photonic Topological Middleware (EPTM), a foundational infrastructure framework designed to orchestrate exascale unstructured data flows across heterogeneous European computing ecosystems. Departing from conventional data management paradigms, this study establishes a rigorous Topological Routing Framework that leverages the principles of photonic coherence to manage high-dimensional data manifolds in real-time. The research integrates a Multi-Dimensional Projection Engine with a revolutionary Entanglement Routing Protocol. By utilizing a hybrid core that fuses lattice-based indexing with Redis-based persistent memory, the system achieves sub-millisecond latency across distributed storage layers. Crucially, the framework ensures transactional integrity and data immutability through a PhotonLedger—a blockchain-inspired append-only ledger designed for critical infrastructure auditing. Experimental evaluations, conducted under resource-constrained environments (without specialized hardware acceleration), demonstrate the system's robustness. The EPTM maintains stable operation for over 31,761 seconds (8.8 hours) with zero precision degradation. Key performance indicators include an 82% Entanglement Routing hit rate, a
