Abstract

In this paper, we observe the potential corporate social responsibility practices of very small companies, regarding their proper context. In the frame of our research, we realized our studies on 6(six) very small companies in Cameroon. We randomly chose them from various activity sectors. From our analysis, it seems clear that the practices of social responsibility are mostly informal, and biased by many parameters, such as the owner’s profile regarding his educational background, but also the apprehension of this thematic as proper to big companies. Our study, bring us to the conclusion that the corporate social responsibility could contribute, if formalized and applied, to the development of even the smallest companies.
