Abstract

This work, titled "Common Sense: The Last Bastion in the Age of Delusion", is an urgent inquiry into the survival of human judgment in the 21st century . Originally written in Persian and translated into English by the author, the book serves as both a philosophical refuge and a critical response to the "avalanche" of misinformation and "bullshit" produced by social networks and Artificial Intelligence . Key conceptual highlights include: * The Crisis of Agency: An analysis of how we have become "unpaid labourers" for giant tech corporations, providing the human feedback necessary to train AI models that may eventually replace our own capacity to reason . * Linguistic and Cultural Shifts: A deep dive into the semantic differences between the English "Common Sense" (emphasizing universality and consensus) and the Persian "Aql-e Salim" (emphasizing intellectual health and correctness) . * The Last Bastion: Defining common sense as the "ground beneath our feet" and the final set of self-evident truths that allow humans to navigate a world where we can no longer trust what we see or hear . * Cross-Cultural Patterns: Comparison of how different languages (German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese) find the "source of authority" for judgment in either health, norms, or consensus .
