Abstract

This preprint introduces a systems-level model for failure-aware anchoring in asynchronous execution architectures. Rather than assuming reliable external anchoring mechanisms, the work formalizes anchoring suppression as a detectable security event derived from structured reconciliation between execution and anchoring logs. The paper defines a bounded-time detectability condition and presents both an analytical model and prototype implementation demonstrating suppression detection under probabilistic adversarial behavior. The approach shifts security reasoning from prevention-based guarantees toward detection-based accountability in environments where external anchoring may be delayed, unreliable, or strategically suppressed.
