Abstract

In July 2019, U.S. Navy personnel aboard USS Omaha recorded an unidentified sphericalobject over the ocean using a shipboard electro‑optical/infrared system; contemporaneousreporting describes additional radar tracks consistent with multiple objects in the area. Inwidely circulated footage, the object appears to descend and then disappear at the oceansurface, with observers reporting minimal ‘splash’. Public reporting further attributes to theevent a larger ‘swarm’ of objects (often quoted as ~14) during the same period. This paperpresents a Space‑Phase (SP3) interpretation: the ‘orbs’ are compatible with proto‑matter—localized condensations (saturations) of the space‑phase substrate—organized andstabilized by coherence corridors that enable efficient propagation without visibleconventional propulsion. The analysis separates (i) what is directly shown in releasedimagery and what is reported by mainstream outlets from (ii) the SP3 mechanism claims, and it offers falsifiable handles for future collection (multi‑sensor timing, water‑surfaceinteraction signatures, wake and thermal absence, and corridor spacing/avoidancegeometry).
