THE GENERATIVEARCHITECTURE DESIGN APPROACH BASED ON NATURE'S GEOMETRIC AND FRACTAL LOGIC
Abstract
The research examines the relationship between architectural form and the organizationalprinciples of nature and the universe. It argues that from primitive shelters to monumentalceremonial structures, architecture serves as a tangible means for humans to interpret, emulate, and seek harmony with the natural and cosmic order. This relationship is mediated throughgeometric language. Universal forms, principles of symmetry, and symmetry breaking act astranscendental tools for translating celestial patterns into terrestrial order and aesthetic expression.Through interdisciplinary theoretical analysis integrating concepts from systems theory, fractalgeometry, and evolutionary biology, the study reconstructs architecture as a phenomenon rootedin universal generative principles. The research demonstrates that natural structures, characterizedby self-similarity, hierarchy, and recursive repetition, provide a profound logic for architecturaldesign. Aesthetic harmony in architecture does not stem from imitating form but from theabstraction of the profound organizational laws of nature, including the dynamic balance betweensymmetry and asymmetry. The research proposes a design approach based on natural geometricunits and generative principles. This approach advocates integrating adaptation, continuity, andorganic development into the design process to create sustainable and meaningful built forms. Theconscious application of these principles provides a theoretical foundation for architecturalpractice that meets functional and aesthetic needs while integrating with the ecological and culturalcontext of the construction site, contributing to a sustainable model for the built environment.
