Presentation delivered to the DisCouRSE Focus Group on the 19th January by Dave Horsfall, Head of Biomedical Research Software at the University of Newcastle. The session introduced a practical 3-tier model for promoting mental health and well-being within distributed Research Technical Professional (dRTP) teams. Topics included strategies for leadership, team support structures, and approaches to fostering resilient, positive, and sustainable research software engineering environments.
