Abstract

Complete results of the first two case studies for APHREH-ADSMap (): Case study I: Heat-related cardiovascular emergencies in Milan Case study II: PM₂.₅-related respiratory emergencies in Lombardy Complete results are a zipped version of the output provided by the tool. Maps for case study I report the spatial distribution of the yearly risk coefficient (RCy), color-coded across Basic Statistical Areas (BSAs), 88 Local Identity Nuclei (NIL) in the city of Milan, northern Italy. Positive values denote increased risk associated with higher temperatures, while negative values indicate reversed effects. Maps for case study II report the spatial distribution of the yearly risk coefficient (RCy), color-coded across Basic Statistical Areas (BSAs), 96 districts of approximatively 100’000 residents obtained by aggregating municipalities in Lombardy region, northern Italy. Positive values denote increased risk associated with higher temperatures, while negative values indicate reversed effects.
