the liar paradox: a resolution via Saladini's theorem
Abstract
This paper provides a formal resolution of the Liar Paradox by applying the Saladini Theorem to self-referential statements. It demonstrates that the paradox arises from the false assumption of infinite logical nesting. • Finite Capacity: No agent can process the infinite logical steps required by absolute self-reference. • Logical Nullification: Contradictions from infinite nesting are non-operational for finite observers. • Systemic Collapse: Within a finite domain, the paradox collapses and becomes logically null. By identifying the Critical Comprehension Threshold, this work renders the paradox irrelevant for finite agents.
