Derivation of the Electroweak Symmetry Breaking Scale from Cosmological Fluid Geometry in Zero-Point Emergent Gravity (ZEG)
Abstract
This letter presents a purely geometric and hydrodynamic derivation of the Electroweak Symmetry Breaking (EWSB) scale within the Zero-Point Emergent Gravity (ZEG) framework. By modeling the quantum vacuum as a multi-component superfluid of densely packed topological defects, we demonstrate that the Standard Model mass scale is a deterministic consequence of macroscopic vacuum geometry. Key Highlights & Methodology: The Logarithmic Energy Cascade: We calculate the maximum limit of the fluid's energy cascade using two strict physical boundaries: the empirically bounded Vacuum Coherence Length ($\xi \approx 9 \times 10^{20}$ m) and the fundamental Planck length ($l_p \approx 1.616 \times 10^{-35}$ m). Geometric Packing Constraints: The fluid cascade is modulated by the Face-Centered Cubic (FCC) geometric packing fraction, representing the mathematical maximum density for 3D spherical volumes. The 173.35 GeV Derivation: Applying these boundaries yields a theoretical hydrodynamic drag ceiling of 173.35 GeV. This derived value aligns precisely with the empirically measured Top Quark mass (173.1 GeV) and the established EWSB scale ($v/\sqrt{2} \approx 174$ GeV). Resolving the Hierarchy Problem: This derivation provides a mechanical resolution to the Hierarchy Problem without requiring fine-tuning, extra dimensions, or new fundamental particles. No parameters are adjusted to match the output—the mass ratio emerges strictly from the physical boundaries of the observable universe and proven 3D packing constraints. Falsifiability: The ZEG framework remains strictly falsifiable via the future empirical refinement of the vacuum coherence length, or through the detection of specific deviations in high-precision Higgs and Top Quark measurements at particle colliders.
