No-Go Bounds on Electromagnetic-Topology-to-Higgs Coupling via Einstein-Cartan Torsion: Planck Suppression and Alternative Coupling Paths
Abstract
This paper derives rigorous no-go bounds on the coupling between topologically non-trivial electromagnetic fields and the Higgs sector within the Einstein-Cartan-Sciama-Kibble (ECSK) framework. We provide a detailed analysis of the canonical vs. Belinfante spin tensor ambiguity, establish the Planck-scale suppression of the torsion-mediated channel (10−129), and evaluate alternative coupling paths (Chern-Simons, Nieh-Yan, and ALP-mediated). The work includes complete Lagrangian derivations and consistency checks against established literature (Hehl, Shaposhnikov), making it a comprehensive reference for null predictions in light-gravity interactions.
