Abstract

Replication materials (data, analysis scripts, and figures) for the article 'Multi-dimensional decomposition of material extraction patterns: A stylised scenario analysis of the MERCOSUR-EU trade agreement'. Includes Non-negative Tensor Factorisation (NTF) of territorial material extraction from the GLORIA MRIO database (Loop060) for 31 countries (EU-27 and MERCOSUR-4), and a stylised scenario sensitivity analysis of the trade agreement in which the temporal loadings are perturbed by illustrative, tariff-schedule-informed shocks. Scenario effects are expressed in tonnage terms and are conditional on the assumptions; the ordering of affected material categories follows from the assumed concession ranking, holding in 84% of independent tariff-anchored shock draws but only 15% when the schedule is ignored. All publication figures are included.
