Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within globalbioticinteractions/syrphids-of-ireland hash://md5/17fa92139ea990e943fa5821d8c21666

Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/syrphids-of-ireland, has fingerprint hash://md5/17fa92139ea990e943fa5821d8c21666, is 1.44MiB in size and contains 2,069 interactions with 3 unique types of associations (e.g., visits) between 98 primary taxa (e.g., Episyrphus balteatus) and 472 associated taxa (e.g., Hypochaeris radicata). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
