The Bergmann Multi-Cycle: A stochastic, photon-driven cyclic cosmology in a closed 3-sphere
Abstract
We propose the Bergmann multi-cycle, a speculative cyclic cosmological model in a closed three-sphere topology. Random partial photon superpositions lead to local mini-bounces, whose statistical superposition produces a smooth, accelerated expansion (emergent dark energy). The model explains the abundance of black holes in dense regions and resolves the Olbers paradox as well as the age of the universe without a global reset. It makes falsifiable predictions for curvature, the global warming background, and cosmic microwave background anomalies.
