Abstract

The Bootstrap Thesis is the foundational position statement of the Bootstrap Universe framework. It proposes that the universe is geometry instantiated — not tuned, not fitted, but the unique implementation of three-dimensional geometric necessity. From a single act of self-reference (I AM I), one structure emerges, one tension follows, and one universe results. The Thesis states eight principles governing the framework: grounding in measurement, geometric necessity, the irreducible remainder as the engine of physics, zero fitted parameters, need-to-know derivation order, explicit working, accuracy as judge, and special-to-general validation. It identifies the foundational failure of twentieth-century physics — the replacement of geometric mechanism with probability — and proposes Bootstrap as the correction. This document is a proposition. The derivations are in the Bootstrap Universe catalogue (10.5281/zenodo.17906573).
