MetaTime Research Program: Optomechanical Kill-Test and Holographic Telemetry
Abstract
This repository contains two complementary manuscripts that establish the experimental and theoretical foundations of the MetaTime research program. The framework investigates inertia as a macroscopic manifestation of informational latency, driven by the thermodynamic cost of continuous state-rendering. 1. Experimental Protocol (MetaTime v42): Inertia as Informational Latency The first manuscript formulates an operational, falsifiable hypothesis in continuous quantum measurement. It proposes a decisive optomechanical kill-test using levitated nanoparticles, introducing orthogonal control protocols and a strengthened null model (H_0^+) to strictly isolate the proposed Fisher-metric scaling of inertia from standard optical spring and heating systematics. 2. Theoretical Framework: Inertia as Brane-to-Bulk Telemetry The second manuscript provides the fundamental cosmological basis using brane-world models and AdS/CFT duality. It posits that the thermodynamic exhaust (Landauer cost) of continuous measurement on the 3D brane acts as a universal telemetry channel. Rather than emitting optical radiation, the information-processing latency sources bulk gravitational backreaction, explaining the physical origin of the latency-inertia equivalence. Together, these manuscripts bridge precision laboratory optomechanics with holographic quantum thermodynamics, offering a rigorously falsifiable pathway to test emergent inertia.
