Glassbox Structural Transparency in Pharmaceutical Research A Constraint-Mediated Stability Framework for Institutional Research Use
Abstract
AbstractPharmaceutical research routinely relies on mean-based statistical reporting to summarise trialoutcomes. While this approach provides aggregate clarity, it compresses subgroup-level variance, masking interaction topologies, non-linear dose-response relationships, and noise amplificationeffects that may be material to research interpretation. This paper proposes a conceptualframework, termed Glassbox Structural Transparency, which applies constraint-mediatedstability analysis to pharmaceutical research datasets as an additional analytical layer. Theframework does not replace existing statistical methodologies; it supplements them by exposingstructural variance that mean-based reporting may compress. This is a research-onlycontribution. It carries no clinical intent, no commercial application, and no advisory function.Empirical instantiation across specific therapeutic domains is required before any conclusionsregarding utility can be drawn.
