Effective Factorization Under Coarse-Graining: A Regime-Level Account of Classical Emergence (IM-D009, v0.3)
Abstract
This document is part of the Informational Mechanics (IM) framework and is published in the IM-D (Core Physics) series within the IM v0.3 corpus. The paper develops a regime-conditional structural consequence within the admissibility framework of Informational Mechanics. Rather than introducing new axioms, dynamical models, or empirical fits, the analysis derives constraints that follow from the operator-defined and regime-bounded structure formalized in upstream IM-C and IM-B documents. The result is classificatory and structural: it clarifies how specific physical descriptions remain admissible within declared regimes while avoiding unwarranted global extrapolation. No ontological reduction, gravitational derivation, or modification of established physical theories is asserted. The contribution lies in clarifying structural consistency conditions and identifying the assumptions under which the derived consequence would require refinement or revision.
