Abstract

NodalChain is the transactional and sequencing layer of the D10Z computational governance ecosystem. It is not a blockchain. It operates on a sovereign nodal mesh where each node is a complete autonomous unit containing identity, state, computation, and an AI adjunct. Consensus is determined by Proof-of-Resonance (PoR) — a coherence-based mechanism grounded in the D10Z mathematical framework (F(t), Φ(t), A(t), GM·10⁻⁵¹). Each node derives its identity from the HECB protocol (Hardware-Enforced Coherence-Based) — a locally computed, non-transferable identifier combining hardware root key, stabilized personal coherence Φ_stable, and the D10Z canonical constant. State integrity is enforced by FVZ-TTA v1.5 (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18676397) state machine (NORMAL/DEGRADED/QUARANTINE/RECOVERY) and attested continuously by MIZAN v2.1 (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18614804) dual-track cryptographic attestation. State failure is resolved by the double-helix auto-repair mechanism (ADN-Trie) without human intervention and without forks. This specification provides:- Formal definition of Proof-of-Resonance including the sustained coherence function Ψcoh(Z,t)- HECB identity derivation protocol- Double-helix auto-repair mechanism (ADN-Trie)- Transaction structure with Dilithium-3 post-quantum signatures- Complete invariant set (NC-I-001 through NC-I-010)- Complete falsifier set (NC-F-001 through NC-F-010)- Sealed parameters for all NodalChain-specific extensions to D10Z Tier position within D10Z stack:D10Z (Tier −1) → FVZ-TTA v1.5 (Tier 0) → MIZAN v2.1 (Tier 1) → NodalChain (Application Layer)
