The Monistic Continuum Model (MCM Theorie)
Abstract
The Monistic Continuum Model (MCM) proposes a unified ontological framework in which time, light, matter, and physical constants emerge from a single underlying continuum. The model describes physical reality as a tension‑based field structure whose local and global dynamics generate the observable properties of the universe. Within this framework, temporal flow arises from structural transformations of the continuum, while particles and fields correspond to stable or metastable tension modes. The theory aims to bridge conceptual gaps between general relativity, quantum field theory, and cosmology by replacing discrete fundamental entities with a continuous, self‑modulating substrate. It introduces a mode‑based interpretation of physical interactions, explains the emergence of constants through structural invariants, and outlines how macroscopic spacetime geometry results from microscopic tension distributions. This whitepaper presents the foundational principles, mathematical structure, and conceptual implications of the MCM, including its relevance for cosmology, unification approaches, and the ontology of physics. It is intended as a basis for further theoretical development and scientific discussion.
