GR-Razor Stress Tests, Pillar 12: The MOND Scale — Two Anomalies, One Parameter: The Hubble Tension and the MOND Acceleration Scale as Linked Consequences of the Pangaea Expansion History
Abstract
The GR-Razor Stress Tests series is a twelve-Pillar independent program of systematic cosmological falsification. Pillar 12 connects two of the most persistent anomalies in modern physics — the Hubble tension and the MOND galactic dynamics anomaly — as linked consequences of the same underlying parameter within the Cosmological Pangaea framework. The LQC quantum bounce mechanism derived in Pillar 10 raises the CMB-inferred H₀ by +4.08 km/s/Mpc from first principles. Through Verlinde's entropic gravity relation a₀ = cH₀/2π, the same shift moves the predicted MOND acceleration scale from 1.034 × 10⁻¹⁰ m/s² (ΛCDM baseline, 13.8% below observed) to 1.100 × 10⁻¹⁰ m/s² (Pangaea standard LQC, 7.96% below observed). No new parameters are introduced. The MOND scale is not fitted. It is a consistency prediction of the framework derived from the same bounce physics that substantially resolves the Hubble tension. The residual gap of 7.96% in a₀ is consistent with the same LQC quantization uncertainty that produces the 1.39σ Hubble tension residual. Both gaps close simultaneously under the same shift in ρ_crit. This is not a coincidence. It is evidence that the Hubble tension and the dark matter phenomenology are two projections of the same underlying physics onto two different observational scales. The document situates this result within the broader entropic substrate argument running through the series: gravity is emergent from entropy, the de Sitter horizon entropy sets the acceleration scale at which the entropic contribution becomes visible, and the Pangaea initial state provides the cosmological boundary condition for both. Dark matter as a substance is not required. The anomaly that has motivated fifty years of particle physics searches is an entropic force from the cosmological horizon, set by the same expansion history that produces the Hubble tension. Four falsifiable predictions are stated: simultaneous closure of the Hubble tension and MOND scale residuals, consistency under LQC quantization scheme variation, the low-ℓ CMB non-Gaussianity signature from Pillar 11, and exact MOND behavior in isolated low-surface-brightness galaxies without scatter.
