The Arithmetic Universe: Kinematic Obstruction and the Geometry of Information
Abstract
We propose that the physical universe is an information manifold spanned by the logarithms of the prime numbers (H_P). From this single Arithmetic Ansatz, we derive the principle of Kinematic Obstruction—the inherent resistance of the medium to infinite information density. We demonstrate that this resistance manifests as "Stiffness" across all scales, providing insight into the Riemann Hypothesis, the P vs NP problem, Navier-Stokes regularity, the Yang-Mills Mass Gap, and Gravitational Singularities. By identifying the non-Abelian commutator and the Riemann curvature tensor as Spectral Scattering Operators, we show that the "catastrophes" of continuum mechanics are artifacts of ignoring the resolution cost of the underlying arithmetic medium. Finally, we derive the Unified Dark Sector, theorizing that Dark Matter and Dark Energy are the off-diagonal shear and diagonal normal stresses of the Arithmetic Strain Tensor, naturally extending the Einstein Field Equation.
