Dialogical Co-evolution of Knowledge: Redefining Authorship in the Era of Artificial Intelligence through the Lens of Guilford's Structure of Intellect
Abstract
Contemporary academic discourse is increasingly challenged by the "digital poverty" of narrative, a phenomenon stemming from the uncritical use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). This paper proposes a cognitive reconceptualization of authorship, shifting from an ego-centric model to a "dialogical co-authorship" framework. Utilizing J.P. Guilford’s Structure of Intellect (SI) model, we demonstrate that the superiority of Natural Intelligence (NI) resides in the operations of divergent production and evaluation—functions that transform the convergent outputs of AI into original theoretical systems. Through a case study involving the metalogical tension between Modal Logic S5 and the Jainist principle of anekāntavāda, this paper argues that the value of knowledge emerges from interaction rather than mere reproduction.
