ORGANIZING STUDENTS' INDEPENDENT LEARNING WITHIN THE CREDIT-MODULAR EDUCATION SYSTEM: PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES AND EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES
Abstract
The credit-modular education system has become a key mechanism for modernizing higher education and enhancing student-centered learning. This article examines pedagogical approaches to organizing students’ independent learning within the framework of the credit-modular system. Independent learning is analyzed as a structured and pedagogically guided process aimed at developing academic autonomy, self-regulation, and professional competencies. The study explores organizational principles, instructional design strategies, and assessment mechanisms that ensure the effectiveness of independent learning. The findings demonstrate that systematic pedagogical support within the credit-modular system significantly improves learning outcomes and contributes to sustainable quality enhancement in higher education.
