Infinite Fractal Descent: A Framework for Subterranean Monolithic Habitats
Abstract
This paper proposes a novel architectural paradigm, the Inverted Monolith, governed by the principles of Infinite Fractal Descent (IFD). By replacing traditional surface-dependent construction with a discrete, recursive "Earth-Mold" casting process, we achieve unprecedented structural integrity and resource efficiency. We demonstrate that a 500-meter subterranean habitat can be constructed with 40% less material than conventional equivalents while providing absolute resilience against seismic, thermal, and atmospheric disasters. This model serves as a definitive solution to urban homelessness by decoupling human habitation from high-energy maintenance costs and integrating the habitat as a permanent geological inclusion.
