Abstract

This paper applies the multi-body formulation of Newton’s law of universalgravitation to demonstrate that the observed stellar velocities in galaxies areconsistent with gravitational theory, without invoking any unseen massivecomponents. Our analysis indicates that the phenomenon commonly interpreted asweak-lensing is attributable to the deflection of light by matter that generateselectric fields. We therefore conclude that massive dark matter does not exist.
