A Formal-Logical Meta-Hierarchy of Philosophical and Scientific Systems
Abstract
This paper proposes a formal-logical meta-hierarchy for positioning philosophical, scientific, and technical systems within a unified logical space. The framework is grounded exclusively in criteria of conceptual generality and determination and is explicitly independent of ontological, empirical, and pragmatic assumptions. Two complementary articulations are introduced: (i) a meta-hierarchy of philosophical–scientific systems, and (ii) a strictly formal-logical meta-hierarchy of such systems. The central aim is not to unify theories or domains, but to specify the formal-logical conditions under which heterogeneous systems can be coherently related without reduction or synthesis. The proposed hierarchy is scalar rather than linear and serves a regulative, not constitutive, function in the organization of knowledge.
