The Creation Matrix: Toward an Axiomatic Structural Model of Creative Action
Abstract
Research on creativity has produced cognitive, motivational, processual, and sociocultural models; however, no explicit axiomatic framework specifies the necessary structural conditions of creative action. This paper introduces the Creation Matrix as an integrative structural model that identifies eight necessary components of creative realization: desire, decision, intention, project conceptualization, planning, programming, action, and goal attainment. Unlike descriptive or domain-specific models, the proposed framework functions as a meta-theoretical structure defining the minimal conditions under which a process qualifies as creative realization. The model is analyzed in relation to dominant psychological and systems approaches to creativity and positioned as a normative-structural complement rather than a competitor. Implications for theory integration, process diagnostics, and empirical operationalization are discussed.
