Abstract

EEG spectral characteristics in visual pathway regions.During stimulation of both the LC and nR nuclei, EEG activity within the VC was predominantly expressed in the 1–5 Hz frequency range. LC stimulation elicited a maximal EEG power of approximately 28 µV, whereas nR stimulation was associated with lower amplitude values and a more stable spectral distribution (Figure 1, D). In the SC, nR stimulation resulted in a reduction of EEG power within the 1–3 Hz range (below ~10 µV), accompanied by fluctuations in the 3–5, 7–9, and 13–15 Hz bands. By contrast, LC stimulation induced a 20 µV fluctuation in the 5–7 Hz range (Figure 1, E).
