Abstract

The physical picture of the disturbances affecting the main armament of the vehicle in the horizontal and vertical guidance channels under conditions of curved linear uneven movement is considered and an analysis is given. External inertial disturbances affecting the vehicle armament in the horizontal guidance channel are determined by the action of centrifugal forces arising when the vehicle turns and the action of inertial forces accelerating or decelerating the vehicle, as well as the current value of the angle of rotation of the turret relative to the hull. The continuous increase in the power of the powertrain systems of domestic and foreign vehicles, and therefore their mobility and maneuverability, has led to a significant increase in external disturbances caused by inertial forces acting on the main armament and arising from the uneven movement of the vehicle along the curved line. To ensure the reliability of the results of the assessment of functional and resource characteristics and optimization of design parameters and operating factors, the most important requirement for mathematical models is the description of the processes and phenomena under consideration with the approximation of the calculated values to the experimental data necessary for engineering calculations. Most of the mathematical models of the movement of wheeled vehicles known from the scientific and technical literature describe their rectilinear movement. Mathematical models of the curvilinear movement of wheeled vehicles, as a rule, are compiled using Lagrange equations of the 2nd kind and describe steady circular motion. To increase the accuracy of stabilization of the boresight axis of a machine gun relative to the direction towards the target, it is advisable to use an invariant stabilizer instead of a traditional PD stabilizer in both horizontal and vertical guidance channels.
