Carbon Credit Generation Through Algorithmic Entropy Compression of Financial Trading Signals
Abstract
We present a novel method for generating verifiable carbon emission credits as a direct byproduct of entropy compression applied to financial trading signal processing. The system, implemented within the LATTICE24 platform, employs the ETARE (Evolutionary Trading Algorithm with Reinforcement and Extinction) entropy compression engine to remove redundant information from trading signals prior to GPU computation. This pre-compute compression reduces GPU cycles by approximately 88%, yielding measurable reductions in CO2 equivalent (CO2e) emissions per signal processed. These reductions are quantified in real-time, tracked against the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) Scopes 1, 2, and 3, and converted into carbon rebate credits through the integrated SUSTAI Engine. To our knowledge, this represents the first system that generates carbon credits as an intrinsic byproduct of algorithmic signal processing efficiency, rather than through traditional carbon offset mechanisms.
