A Unified Budgetary Proof of the Collatz 3n+1 conjecture through the lonely runner conjecture:The R=2 Universal Deficit Invariant
Abstract
This paper provides the definitive resolution of the Lonely Runner Conjecture and the Collatz (3n+1) Conjecture by establishing a scale-invariant budgetary deficit in discrete dynamical systems.we formalize the Mandatory Overlap Tax (MOT) as an L² Shadow Potential constraint. We demonstrate that the constructive interference at the origin—defined as the "Ziddi" Alignment in linear rotations and the "Binary Singularity" (+1) in bit-string transformations—forces an integrated redundancy W that satisfies the universal identity W = 2S, where S is the available growth surplus. Since the "Overlap Tax" (W) is exactly twice the "Surplus Budget" (S), both systems are shown to be structurally insolvent. This necessitates the existence of lonely states (C(t)=0) for all k >= 3 and the universal dissipation of bit-complexity (L -> 0) in Collatz trajectories, respectively
