Dataset for: "A Hetero-functional Graph State Estimator for Watershed Systems: Application to the Chesapeake Bay"
Abstract
Data for the paper “A Hetero-functional Graph State Estimator for Watershed Systems: Application to the Chesapeake Bay” (M. S. Harris, J. C. Little, A. M. Farid). The code that uses these data is at https://github.com/LIINES/HFGT-CBW-Watershed-Model. The code used for the results is release v2.0 of https://github.com/LIINES/HFGT-CBW-Watershed-Model. All inputs are public data from the Chesapeake Bay Program: Chesapeake Assessment Scenario Tool (CAST), Phase 6, 2024 Progress scenario, and Chesapeake Bay Program geospatial datasets. Contents: RawData-nonGIS.zip: CAST reports as downloaded (Nutrients Applied, Loads, Loads per Unit, Base Conditions, Source Data). Data-nonrawdata.zip: intermediate and final data products generated by the code. GIS-finalshapefiles.zip: final land-river segment, outlet point, river network and estuary-link shapefiles used to build the model. QGIS-shapefiles.zip: intermediate shapefiles from the geospatial workflow. QGIS-DEM.zip: 30-m digital elevation model used to locate outlet points. README.md: directory structure and setup instructions. To use: clone the GitHub repository, unzip these files into the 0-Data folder as described in README.md, run 1-Code/0-ProcessRaw/repair_cast_xlsx.py once (it re-saves CAST spreadsheets that lack cell addresses, which the Julia XLSX package requires; contents are unchanged), then run 1-Code/3-Simulation/wlsehfgse/run_wlsehfgse_watershed.jl.
