Abstract

This book explores the shared heritage of human languages through a systematic examination of ancient letter forms, tracing the pictographic origins of individual letters across five alphabetic traditions: Phoenician, Hebrew, Arabic, Greek, and Latin. Beginning with the earliest pictograms — the house, the camel, the palm, the breath, the eye, and the head — the work demonstrates that the letters we use today are not arbitrary signs but silent witnesses of a shared human origin.
