Abstract

AbstractThis paper proposes "Universal Individualism" (天道貴私) as the fundamental logic for civilizational stability and prosperity. By establishing the 0-1-1-2-3 Evolution Tree of Private Rights based on the Fibonacci sequence, this study argues that the Right to Reputation (3-3) is the cornerstone of a civilization’s credit system. Analyzing Chinese history, the paper posits that the desecration of individual reputation during the Warring States period led to the long-term suppression of private morality by the ideology of "Absolute Altruism" (天道至公). This suppression is the root cause of the cyclical collapse known as the Dynastic Cycle.________________________________________Chapter I: The Physical Logic of Universal Individualism1. Symmetry Breaking and Diversity: The universe originated from physical "Symmetry Breaking." If the Universal Way were "Absolute Altruism" (perfect symmetry), all matter would have annihilated. The existence of diverse organisms proves that the Universal Way protects differences and boundaries—the essence of "Valuing the Private."2. The Divine Preference: Theologically, "Preference" granted humanity the free will to leave Eden. To deny this preference is to deny the "Choice of the Heart" that defines human existence.Chapter II: The 0-1-1-2-3 Framework of Private RightsCivilizational progress follows a cumulative logic of energy and credit ( ):• Level 0 (Existence): The physical baseline; the safety of life.• Level 1 (Education & Work): The wings of socialization. Education breaks mental sets; work establishes reciprocal exchange.• Level 2 (Spiritual Freedom & Mobility): Autonomy of the soul and fluidity of the body, preventing the individual from being held hostage by a single territory.• Level 3 (Civilizational Prosperity):o 3-1. Property Rights: The material moat of personal dignity.o 3-2. Right to Creation: The output of the soul; the social manifestation of life’s symmetry breaking.o 3-3. Right to Reputation: The core asset of civilizational stability. The long-term credit accumulated by an individual in the Commons.Chapter III: Historical Diagnosis—The Warring States and the Collapse of Reputation1. Poisoning the Spiritual Commons: During the Warring States period, scholars (e.g., Zhuangzi, Han Fei) fabricated stories about others to promote political ideologies. This culture of "fictionalizing truth for the sake of the Great Way" destroyed the sanctity of Authenticity and Integrity.2. The Loss of Private Morality: When reputation became a tool for power struggles, long-term credit contracts between individuals vanished. The "Credit Code" of Chinese civilization was damaged during its formative stage.Chapter IV: Deconstructing the Dynastic Cycle1. The Mask of Altruism (Egoism in Disguise): The "Absolute Altruism" established after the Qin-Han dynasties was a mask for the Emperor's "Absolute Ego." It suppressed private rights, forcing society into a regressive state without memory or feedback.2. The Imbalance of Power:• Imperial Expansion: Excessive compression of Level 0-3 rights leads to sudden dynastic collapse.• Aristocratic Expansion: Unchecked competition for "Absolute Ego" leads to fragmentation.3. The Inevitable Cycle: Lacking a mechanism to protect 3-3 (Reputation), dynasties begin and end in violence, trapped in a loop where "Fake Altruism" suppresses "True Individualism."Chapter V: Global Commons and Linguistic Literacy1. Reciprocity in Language: The status of English as a global commons stems from the accumulated civilizational excellence of its speakers. Public figures who use "Shameful Refusal to Communicate" damage the "Common Credit" of their mother tongue.2. Multilingual Creativity: Elite talents use Level 1 (Education) to break mental sets, achieving dominance in Level 3-2 (Creation). Conclusion: Civilizational Salvation via the Prosperity Number 13Prosperity lies in balancing the 8 Layers of the Commons and the 5 Interwoven Interfaces. These 13 dimensions require us to abandon the "Saintly Mask" and return to the honest Way of Universal Individualism. Healing civilization begins with protecting every individual's Reputation, thereby ending the fate of regression.
