The Vortex Forge (See updated)
Abstract
We apply the Vortex Forge mechanism of the Unified Light Framework — in which gravitational core collapse drives photon-to-matter phase conversion at a Kerr ring singularity — to predict titanium-44 (Ti-44) yields in core-collapse supernovae. For Cassiopeia A, we derive a Ti-44 yield of 2.9 x 10-4 solar masses from first principles using core mass, angular momentum, and ring sweep geometry. This prediction matches INTEGRAL/SPI observations within measurement uncertainties and agrees with NuSTAR spatially resolved measurements within a factor of two — a significant improvement over standard spherically symmetric models that underproduce Ti-44 by factors of 10-20. We extend the prediction to SN 1987A and the Crab Nebula, demonstrating that the mechanism correctly predicts both production and suppression of Ti-44 across different progenitor masses. Three angular relationships — the geometric triad — provide unique observational fingerprints distinguishing this equatorial ring mechanism from all standard models.
