Health and Economic Assessment of Air Purifier Intervention
Abstract
This repository contains the R source code for the manuscript titled "Global health benefits and cost-effectiveness of indoor air purification to mitigate PM2.5 from wildfire smoke". The analysis provides a comprehensive global assessment of the health benefits and economic costs associated with using air purifiers to mitigate exposure to wildfire-related and total PM2.5. Content- Main_Simulation.R: The core script for calculating indoor exposure, purification costs, and DALYs.- README.md: Detailed instructions on system requirements, package dependencies, and execution. UsageUsers can replicate the computational logic by running the provided R scripts. To obtain the global dataset used in the study, please refer to the "Data Availability" statement in the paper or contact the corresponding author.
