Online Training Programme on Horizon Europe: Funding Opportunities, Proposal Submission and Grant Management

The Online Training Programme on Horizon Europe: Funding Opportunities, Proposal Submission and Grant Management was held from 14 January to 18 February 2026 and consisted of five online sessions (2 hours each), complemented by optional participation in European Commission info days. The programme covered the structure and pillars of Horizon Europe, funding schemes under the European Research Council (ERC), European Innovation Council (EIC), and collaborative projects (Pillar II), as well as proposal preparation (Part A and Part B), evaluation criteria, and submission via the Funding & Tenders Portal. Dedicated sessions also addressed the Lump Sum funding model and key aspects of grant management, including reporting, audits, and consortium agreements. Participation was on average of 32 participants per session. Representatives from several research organisations (including CNR, IMT, UAB, DDS, NIRDTP, ICF and INFLPR) took part, strengthening institutional capacity for EU project development and management.
