The Axioms of Divine Unity: A Mathematical Hermeneutic for Structuring Belief in Allah
Abstract
For millennia, but especially within the Islamic tradition where the order of the cosmos is seen to mirror the Divine Will, there has been great research on the link between mathematics and theology. This study looks at where mathematical structure and faith in Allah meet. It suggests a way of thinking about things that puts the strict rules of formal logic together with the spiritual idea of Tawhid (Oneness). We contend that mathematics reveals the coherent "dependency graph" of creation by combining ideas from mathematical physics, logic, and epistemology; it is a hermeneutic language revealing a single, essential axiom and not just a quantification instrument. We examine the limitations of constructivist approaches in accounting for absolute truth and propose a "Theological-Mathematical Hermeneutic Framework" (TMHF). This framework models the connection between the limited human mind and the Infinite Divine using ideas from axiomatic set theory, symmetry, and phase-locking synchronization. Mathematics offers a distinctive structural language that supports the logical plausibility of a single Creator even if it cannot conclusively prove the Divine.
